Merida

Panorama looking up to Pico Bolivar, Venezuela's highest mountain. One of the churches in Merida. I really like the effect of the power lines on the picture... ... and, after about 30 minutes with Photoshop, this is what it would look like without them. This is pretty much the whole of Jaji, a tiny village near Merida.
It's been completely reconstructed, based around the plaza and church. People hiding in the shade... Empty streets... No one in the plaza - but then, it was about 35oC!
