Simon Singh was sued by the British Chiropractic Association for calling some of their practices 'bogus'. Fifteen months later, the BCA's 'evidence' consisted of studies with no control groups, studies that werenít blinded, papers that weren't research papers, papers that didnít address chiropractic manipulation at all...

And of course they completely ignored studies which were rather better performed, studies which adhered to good scientific practices but showed that chiropractic produced no more effect than a placebo.

April 2010 - following a High Court ruling about Simon's use of the word 'bogus', the BCA dropped their suit and were required to pay his costs...
