Khajuraho and Gwalior

The Man Singh Palace at Gwalior Fort and a view inside Detail of intricately carved buttresses Palace from the battlements ... note the graffiti Panoramic view of Gwalior
Temples of Khajuraho, built in the tenth and eleventh centuries... ...and still not finished They follow a standard design ...and every square inch is covered with carvings
Some of the carvings are quite erotic ... This is also on one of the most popular postcards from Khajuraho
The inside of the temples is dark and mysterious Gives the term 'horse riding' a whole new meaning The map showed several lakes around Khajuraho, ...only the ones around the temples have dried up, so this was the best I could get least someone's found a use for what little water is left!
