The Annapurna Circuit

Some of my favourite mountains.

Begnas Tal, near Pokhara. The tent shaped peak on the skyline is Annapurna II, my favourite mountain. Here it is again, early morning, from the ridge above Nalma. The bigger looking mountain is Lamjung Himal. Walking around the circuit, this is the first decent view you get of Annapurna II - the eastern edge of the north face.
